3-Phase transformers
We manufacture and can supply 3-phase power transformers in a wide power range, from small control transformers of 25 VA up to cast resin insulated/oil insulated power transformers of 25 MVA. with system voltage up to 36 kV.
You can choose a model from our standard range or have the transformer customized for your application. Contact us for a technical proposal and quote!
Low voltage 3-phase transformer
Our standard range includes low-voltage power transformers with rated power up to 1000 kVA. The transformers are self-cooled (AN) and dry-insulated, and are manufactured in accordance with with SS-EN 60076. – contact us for more information.

Autotransformer/economy-connected transformer
An autotransformer (spar-connected transformer) uses a common winding for both the primary and secondary sides. Because it only needs to convert the voltage difference itself – while the rest of the power is transferred directly from the grid – it can be made significantly smaller and lighter than a traditional isolation transformer.
This is particularly advantageous when converting between adjacent voltage levels (such as 400–500 V or 400–690 V). The result is a compact and economical solution with high efficiency and minimal energy losses.
Benefits
- Compact design
- Lower weight
- High efficiency
- Lower losses
- Lower cost
- Particularly effective at small voltage differences
Common uses
- Adaptation between 400 V / 500 V / 690 V networks
- Industrial power systems
- Machinery and production equipment
- Motor starters and drive systems
- Pump, fan and compressor systems
- UPS and backup power systems
- Shore power and marine installations
Compatible systems
- Three-phase system 50/60 Hz
- Single-phase system
- TN-S / TN-C system
- IT systems depending on application
- Systems where galvanic isolation is not required
Since the primary and secondary sides are directly connected, there is no galvanic isolation between the networks. Autotransformers are therefore mainly used in applications where a common reference point and grounding work well.

Testing and documentation
Our 3-phase transformers from 10 kVA are tested and documented according to applicable standards, SS-EN 60076-1, SS-EN 60076-11 and SS-EN 50708-2-1. All tests are reported with a separate protocol. If necessary, testing can also be carried out according to other standards at the customer's request.
