Are you looking for a compact, quiet and highly efficient transformer? Our toroids, also known as ring transformers, are manufactured in Sweden at our facilities in Uusimaa. They are an effective choice for applications where low noise, small size and stable operation are important.
The standard range includes low-voltage toroids from 5 VA up to 30 kVA, with rated voltages up to 1000 V on the primary side.We also manufacture voltage transformers with accuracy classes from class 0,2.

Autotransformer/economy-connected transformer
An autotransformer, also called a spars-coupled transformer, has a common winding for both the primary and secondary sides. Unlike a regular isolation transformer, a large part of the power is transferred directly from the supply network, while the transformer mainly handles the voltage difference between input and output.
This means that the autotransformer can be built significantly smaller than a corresponding isolation transformer, especially when converting between nearby voltages, such as 400–500 V or 400–690 V. The result is a compact, cost-effective solution with high efficiency, low weight and low losses.

Since the primary and secondary sides are electrically connected, the autotransformer does not provide galvanic isolation between the networks. It is therefore mainly used where a common reference and ground are acceptable.
